This year,my artwork has changed and it clearly shows an internal change , which is reflected through form and colour :characteristic elements of the artistic language.

By the end of 2007 a new image emerged in my paintings.

In the beginning, it generated rythms, colours changed, some paintings were enlightened with warm vibrating colours while  others , kept rather pale and prevailed earth tones.

Gradually , this forms stilized until they covered the whole surface of the canvas.

First some sensations came timidly onto the surface, then they possibly went through different internal phases.as if trying to penetrate different emotional  stages.

In 2008, those projections found their way : concrete and more definite forms were introduced : circles, triangles, rectangles,which were surrounded , gone through, twisted, pierced and went on their way as if trying to follow their rythmic undulation.

Some transparencies appeared on the surface and were probably related with some emerging feelings.

This change, although slow and gradual, is materialized as soon as I come back from Florence Biennale.

From that moment  on, human figures came to light, they burst in, covering mostly all the surface, just as a scream which has been restrained for some time.

Having taken abstraction as a starting point,I tried to penetrate into my deepest emotions ( a micro reality)and finally I got to the necessity to express a macro reality.

In-Out. From spirituality and interior knowledge I end, as the river ends in the sea, into an aspect of reality with the purpose of making people aware , as I myself did,of a serious social problem : mistreatment.
